Enhancing Public Healthcare Infrastructure Through Community Development

12 August 2025

As part of Mitsubishi Electric India’s CSR focus on Community Development, we undertook a vital initiative to support public healthcare institutions across the country by enhancing their infrastructure with reliable air conditioning systems. This effort aimed to improve comfort and basic amenities for patients, caregivers, and hospital staff—especially in high-footfall government medical facilities.

Under this initiative, air conditioning units were installed at multiple government hospitals and public health centres, ensuring a more hygienic, comfortable, and patient-friendly environment. These installations helped ease the experience of citizens seeking treatment in often overcrowded and resource-constrained healthcare settings.

The following facilities benefitted from the program:

  •  Government General Hospital, Ameerpet, Hyderabad – 4 units
  • Jamnabai Hospital, Vadodara – 4 units
  • L.G. Hospital, Ahmedabad – 4 units
  • Public Health Center, Rajkot – 7 units
  • Public Health Center, Patna – 6 units
  • Public Health Center, Vijayawada – 4 units
  • Medical College, Cochin – 16 units

Each installation was driven by our belief in creating “Changes for the Better”, not just through advanced technologies, but by positively impacting the daily lives of people in our communities. By supporting public healthcare infrastructure, we aimed to extend care, dignity, and improved quality of service to those who need it most.

Mitsubishi Electric India remains committed to enabling healthier, more resilient communities through meaningful and sustainable CSR interventions.
